2011 WSBK/AMA at Miller – Day Two

Wet! Cold!

That pretty much describes day two. The rain POURED down all night, making anywhere off-track a complete mud bog. I’ve never seen it this wet out here. Then, it rained all day long, from light to moderate, with temperatures that never felt like they got out of the 40s. Certainly not optimal conditions for racing, or photography!

Still, the program continued, with the racers mounting rain tires on their bikes, and the photographers trying to keep their equipment relatively dry. It was a much better day for me – meaning, I didn’t drop any lenses, unlike the day before!

Here are some of the photos I captured on  Sunday:

Speaking of dogs, check out Phil's cool helmet!
Yep, it was wet!
